Plain language on what we collect when you compare or buy, and what we never do with it.

Last updated: September 2026

What we collect

To price a quote we need your destination, travel dates, traveler ages and the trip cost you want insured. None of that requires an account.

If you buy a policy, the carrier also needs traveler names, dates of birth, an email address and payment details so the certificate can be issued.

How we use it

Quote details are used to rate plans and show you matching cover. Purchase details are passed to the carrier that issues your policy.

We look at aggregated, de-identified usage to work out which parts of the comparison confuse people and fix them.

Who sees it

The carrier you choose, and the payment processor handling the transaction. We do not sell your details to lead brokers or marketing lists.

We disclose information when a law, court order or regulator requires it of us.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete records we are not legally required to keep.

Marketing email always carries a one-click unsubscribe. Policy and claims email is transactional and continues while your policy is live.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep your quote together between pages and to measure traffic. Blocking them in your browser will not stop you from comparing plans.
