ProtectTravel is a comparison marketplace. We are not an insurer and we do not underwrite risk. Every policy shown here is issued and paid by the licensed carrier named on it.
Quotes and pricing
Premiums shown are quotes based on the trip details you enter. A quote is not a contract; the price and the cover become binding only when the carrier issues your certificate.
If the details you give us are wrong, the premium and the cover can change, and a claim can be declined.
The policy wording wins
Our summaries are written to be readable, not exhaustive. Where anything on this site differs from the carrier's policy document, the policy document governs.
How we are paid
Carriers pay us a commission that is already included in the premium. You never pay more by buying through ProtectTravel than by going direct, and no carrier can buy a better position in your results.
Using the site
Use the site for your own travel planning. Do not scrape rates, resell our comparisons, or attempt to disrupt the service.
We may update, pause or withdraw features as carriers and products change.
Limits of liability
We take care to keep plan information accurate, but we are not liable for a carrier's decisions, a declined claim, or losses arising from a policy you bought. Claims disputes are handled with the carrier, and escalate to your state insurance department.
